Refund Policy
This policy explains how refunds are handled for donations, optional platform contributions (if available), and related fees on Givable. Refund outcomes may depend on payment processor rules and campaign disbursement timing.
When you donate through Givable, your payment is processed by a payment processor and may be routed to the applicable campaign operator. Refunds may be limited because payments can be processed quickly and disbursed based on provider and campaign timelines.
Donations are generally non-refundable once the payment is confirmed. In limited circumstances, refunds may be possible if the payment has not been disbursed or if the payment processor allows reversal. Refund eligibility also depends on the specifics of the transaction (including donation amount, settlement status, and risk controls).
If optional platform contributions are offered, they may be refundable only under the terms displayed at checkout (if any). Where refunds are allowed, they may still be subject to payment processor rules and may be limited by disbursement timing.
Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise in writing, any platform fees or other disclosed charges are generally non-refundable.
To request a refund, email hello@givable.fund with your donation details. Where a refund is possible, we will review your request and respond within a reasonable timeframe — submit requests as soon as you notice an issue. For general refund or dispute questions, use the same address.
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute through your bank or card issuer, the transaction may be placed on hold and/or subject to additional verification. We may request information to support the dispute. The payment processor and card network rules govern the outcome.
